Once again, DeHaan Services provides a just-in-time article about an upcoming Toronto summer event.

"Dream of Shakespeare at Todmorden Mills, Toronto, in July 2012" explains when and where the Driftwood Theatre will perform Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in Toronto.

Perhaps the most useful thing I could add beyond what the Driftwood Theatre's official site provides, was more detailed directions to Todmorden Mills.

Other Publicity for my Midsummer Night Article

As usual, my Xanga blog ("A Shakespearean Dream at Todmorden Mills") also provides a similar promotional entry for my DeHaan Services article.

A Midsummer Night Writing Tip

Perhaps you've already guessed that today's writing tip is to include one or two really useful items in your article.

My goal for every one of my "Toronto events" blog posts in DeHaan Services is to share some information about an upcoming event; preferably to inform someone about an event they would otherwise not have known about.

Regarding the Driftwood Theatre's preview performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream", the second benefit was to provide directions to the venue.

I've added directions in other articles also; see "Toronto Afrofest 2012 at Woodbine Park" for an example.

Although some of the characters get lost in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", there's no excuse for the audience to have trouble finding Todmorden Mills.

    Flexible Sidebar

Weebly's "Blog Author" widget from the Blog Sidebar's Elements menu provides a lot of flexibility. You can change both the title and the text.

It has all the capabilities for text editing that you find in most Weebly text widgets.

At this point, I don't see a way to code any HTML in this widget.

The "Picture" does what you expect: it displays an image of your choice. I just added my home-made picture of "Copyright DeHaan Services 2013" as the top element in this sidebar on Jan. 22, 2013.

The "Search Box" is a "Pro" feature; if you're paying for Weebly hosting, it may be worthwhile.

The other widgets are pre-programmed to do what they say.
