A Fair Day Dawns
Mike DeHaan
Yesterday was exciting on the Freelancer front: I won a new project, and another was extended. Today I intend to write for those projects; especially the extension, where I have the complete details.
This morning I received a reply from another Freelancer client: we are negotiating a new project.
My "Xperimental" Weebly Discoveries list continues to grow. I need to write at least one "Tip" article based on my experiences.
I still have a to-do list for my articles, so there is no lack of work. Some of these are maintenance tasks, such as moving my lists of articles published in 2010 from the DeHaan Services _xref page to daily blog pages.
That reminds me: I missed maintaining my lists of articles in this blog. Well, let's attack that later today.
Just a note about discipline: I carefully cultivate my FaceBook and Digg relationships. I had always checked Digg once a day, by going to each person I follow and Digging one article for each. Once I followed more than 40 people, it became too onerous to click "Next" to see the next 10 people. (Digg really needs to make that long list stick around). Now my tactic is copied from my FaceBook technique: check the "recently active" list several times a day, and hope that I catch the people who reciprocate and read my articles when I Digg them.
So I will pursue the "web seminars" descriptions next. Yoiks and away!
