Busy Start but Little Writing
DeHaan Services business card.
Good news comes in big batches.
First, I won a project for a private client via FreeLancer and another private client just sent work for an extension to his project. So there is a double batch of work.
Secondly, an IT firm called with a pretty good chance of a consulting contract that might begin by the end of January.
Third, I am closer to resolving the mystery of Weebly ordered lists.
The bad news is that it will be difficult to pursue my writing goals in the face of the above pressures.
Flip that bad news around: it is an opportunity to demonstrate that a freelance writer and self-employed entrepreneur must organize and prioritize tasks, and then accomplish many things quickly, efficiently and effectively. I think I should start by taking a nap. No, no, I will just get cracking on these client articles.

Update: Client-Centered Writing
I took that opportunity to draft the first web page for my new client. I explained that it has some different styles, and I am looking for feedback as to what their goals are.
I also began the extension job. It should probably be a good, clean sweep to be done in short order.
I also have to keep track of other eggs that I am juggling. But shortly I will be out for a quick run with the local Running Room.
Which reminds me that I have not decided on the host for my DeHaan Blog of Running. I don't want to fall too far behind, since my vision is that it should have started with my first run of 2011.
Now that I think of it, I have new Weebly mystery to log. Why do the search engines not find this blog? Tonight, I found that my "thedehaanblogofwriting.weebly.com" was found, but not the same title under "weebly.com".
