DeHaan's Writing for Feb. 21, 2011
Mike DeHaan
I need to:
The results are in:
- Check my Environmental Graffiti article
- Press ahead with my pair of active-client projects, since they had sent feedback
- Pursue my two inactive clients, and get them to provide more direction or, preferably, payment
- Resume work on my freelance articles and e-books.
The results are in:
- I updated the Environmental Graffiti article, which had been returned because of problems uploading most images. I fixed one half of the problem; the whole thing looked good in edit mode; but the re-submission again lost some images. I have an idea what I need to do next time.
- I did update two, and added a third, article for one client. Some of the work was conceptually difficult, so it took longer than I had wanted to spend.
- I read my other client's comments, and began working on his. Unfortunately for "speed of turnaround", several areas need work in one large document. If I don't touch all the places, I will lose track of what I have and have not done. And my client will be even more lost.
- I updated one Squidoo lens with some more links to my related articles on other sites. Actually, I should have done this when I first started this lens, so it is well and truly about time!
- I did make some headway on a new approach for selecting key search phrases for some new articles. I have to finalize the topic and the approach, but I think it should be an interesting experiment.
- I continue to learn from my fellow Suite 101 writers, by checking in the forum.
- Amazingly, "Jason" left a comment on my Xperimental blog here on Weebly. Perhaps more amazingly, that comment gave me several new insights and questions to follow up for this site. Thank you, Jason.
