February Four has Multiple Writing Tasks
Mike DeHaan
I continue to work at the following:
So the day continues, balancing current work with self-promotion and planning for future tasks.
I did send the business project to my client this afternoon. Then I wrote...
- My client's business management booklet is well under way for the first full draft. I sent it today!
- I received payment for last month's page-views on Environmental Graffiti. The couple thousand "hits" on the Chocolate/Carob article dwindled to somewhat over 1,000 on Feb. 1st. My only real concern is that they posted a serious drop in the CPM (Cost Per Mille, or thousand, clicks; it should have been CPK for Kilo=thousand) rate.
- I responded to a Facebook buddy with some advice on bed bugs, a link to my Suite 101 article, and a thought for a new article there.
- I dugg an article one of my Digg friends had dugg, regarding reindeer; of course I mentioned my Santa Claus & reindeer article, too.
- I continue to try to register with SocialMonkee.

More bed bugs!
Based on that question on FaceBook, I wrote and published A Quick Guide for the Paranoid Traveler on How to Avoid Bed Bugs. After all, a paranoid traveler wants to avoid or treat bed bugs, and therefore travel safely and serenely.
I also cross-referenced to my previous Suite 101 article, and added a new link from it to the new article.
In just a few hours, Bing and one other search engine had referred a couple of page-views to this new article! It also seems that a couple of those readers checked my earlier article, too...even though mine was the last Suite 101 article I cited, and just ahead of the external links.
