First I checked on my SERP (Search Engine Results Page) for some of my better-performing articles. From my searches in Canada, they are still doing well. The question will be whether they will be affected by the changes in the USA, where it seems that Suite 101 is not as well beloved by Google as it had been.
The big question is whether that will translate into fewer page views, and therefore revenue.
At this moment, the answer is "Wait and see", partly because I have such low values that small absolute numbers have major effects. Also, my biggest source of page views for Environmental Graffiti has shifted from Google to EG itself...at least, that is what their statistics say.
One of the implications of this Google business is that I need to diversify out of the two article sites. I have high hopes for the e-books, although I'm sure I need to put a lot of effort into writing them well. Also, I need to decide...and act upon that decision...to change the format of this "blog" into a proper Weebly blog rather than this long page format.
While I'm at it, I also need to start up another set of blogs. My goal is to edge into promoting more of my services, in an informative way, and also earn AdWord/AdSense revenue through those pages.

My actual work for the day included checking my SERP (still where it had been) and writing a Statement of Work for a Wordpress project that a new client has requested. Then I checked on some old ideas for articles, and decided it is time to pursue one of them.
