A Busy Monday for Writing
Mike DeHaan
Today started with a fairly quick update for one client. The snag was that the document he had updated and sent via e-mail arrived in a "corrupted" state. Microsoft Word advised on a work-around, but I did not seem to have the right program.
WordPad came to the rescue. Although I could not see the mark-up colours, at least I could read the words and find my client's remarks.
Lesson: always have extra tools in the toolbox.
My schedule also calls for promoting my latest Suite 101 article to my social media sites. Done like dinner: Check!
My latest Environmental Graffiti article was also published. The images were indeed saved in the draft, so the article looks as good as I had hoped. The next section has further details.
Later I return to working for another client's project. I made progress on two of the chapters for his book. It remains to be seen whether I have guessed his intentions, since his project is fuzzy on detail but clear on its main thrust.
My Squidoo lens for Coat Rack Stands had a higher ranking this morning, the 2nd day after I had added a text section and another Amazon sales section. I continue to try pushing this further. Today I added one more link-list section and one more Amazon section. I should really add a text-plus-image section as well. All these are attempts to raise its rank.

Today's Environmental Graffiti Article
Cocoa Beans in a Cocoa Pod by ( PD-USGOV-USDA-ARS ) U.S. Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service
Making an Environmental Choice between Chocolate and Carob gives the environmental background information for deciding which to choose: carob or chocolate or cocoa powder.
Again, just in time for the St. Valentine's day rush.

Environmental Graffiti Articles from the Past
Oriental Hornet in Greece by MattiPaavola
The two final articles to be noted here are animal stories.
The title of The Amazing Oriental Hornet is a Living Solar Cell is all the teaser you need. It really does generate electricity!
Florida's Manatees Head for Refuge of Industrial Outflows, but why? Are they safer? Do they bathe in industrial effluent? Read this article to find out.
This completes the review of my older Environmental Graffiti articles.

Suite 101 Articles from the Past
Menno Simons by an unknown artist, via commons.wikimedia.org
While we are reviewing older articles, let's include Suite 101.
Here are three more articles about Mennonites.
Thoroughly Modern Mennonites is an attempt at a cute title, but it really introduces how Mennonites live in the modern world.
Modern Mennonite Beliefs continues the "modern times" theme, but with a focus on their current religious beliefs.
Current Mennonite Church Organizations lists a number of denominational organizations. Mennonites have structures internationally, at national levels, and regionally.
