My latest DeHaan Fitness blog entry is "Personal Report on Target Heart Rates...".

This completes a series of four articles about target heart rates.

After three articles introducing and explaining target heart rates for different training benefits, it definitely was time to get on the track and test my own pulse.

Did I pass the test? I did indeed get some numbers in the right ballpark.

As always, I also promote my article in DeHaan Services ("Testing my Target Heart Rate").

Writing Tip

Today's writing tip is to put yourself into the story, at least sometimes.

Fans of A-list celebrities may want the inside scoop on the true inner lives. Many readers want facts, useful tips, "gee whiz" news or pictures of cute kittens.

Almost any self-improvement health or fitness article can be improved with a personal anecdote. How did it feel for an individual to achieve some goal...or miss it?

In this situation, I thought it was very important to share my own experiences, after writing three articles about target heart rates.

certainly like your web-site but you might have to check the spelling on quite some of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling difficulties and I in discovering it really bothersome to inform the truth nevertheless I will definitely come once more once more.

Admiring the time and energy you put into your weblog and in depth information you offer. Its very good to come across a blog every once in a while that isnt the same old rehashed material. Amazing read! Ive bookmarked your site and Im adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

Hi, This page is very informative and fun to read. I am a huge follower of the things blogged about. I also love reading the comments, but it seems like a great deal of readers need to stay on topic to try and add something to the original topic. I would also encourage all of you to bookmark this page to your most used service to help get the word out. Thanks

    Flexible Sidebar

Weebly's "Blog Author" widget from the Blog Sidebar's Elements menu provides a lot of flexibility. You can change both the title and the text.

It has all the capabilities for text editing that you find in most Weebly text widgets.

At this point, I don't see a way to code any HTML in this widget.

The "Picture" does what you expect: it displays an image of your choice. I just added my home-made picture of "Copyright DeHaan Services 2013" as the top element in this sidebar on Jan. 22, 2013.

The "Search Box" is a "Pro" feature; if you're paying for Weebly hosting, it may be worthwhile.

The other widgets are pre-programmed to do what they say.
